The Legacy Path is a five-part audio documentary (written and voiced by Evan). It's inspired by The Secret Path, a multimedia project by Gordon Downie and Jeff Lemire.
While recounting the story of Chanie Wenjack and the residential school system, The Legacy Path reveals a century of systemic theft. It explores the government's deliberate disruption of the Indigenous family unit, the denial of voting rights, and the ongoing reality of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
The goal of this audio documentary is not merely to inform, but to profoundly challenge and inspire every listener to acknowledge our history and cross the threshold into action.
The Legacy Path promotes reconciliation by fostering deeper awareness and education regarding the transmission of intergenerational trauma and encouraging a shared vision for a more respectful and loving future in Canada.

THE SECRET PATH by Gordon Downie & Jeff Lemire
Dear friend,
I'm promoting truth & reconciliation and fostering respect & love between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in Canada, inspired by the spirit of the late Gord Downie's "The Secret Path" project.
The best way I can contribute to this mission of "doing something" is by:
Spreading awareness on social media and through The Legacy Path audio documentary I produced.
Donating all proceeds from my book, Tonight We Take Parry Sound, to the Downie Wenjack Fund (DWF). The DWF aims "to improve the lives of Indigenous people by building awareness, education and connections between all Canadians."
